As a child Colombian born artist Maicol Diaz knew he was unique. Knowing that he was put in the universe to create, he saw the world as a place to improve and as a chance to add beauty to the ordinary. Maicol knew that he wanted to utilize his artistic ability to make a positive difference in the world. Coming from an artistic background with creative parents Maicol felt most fulfilled and peaceful while creating. Living in both New York City (as well as being raised in Miami) proved to be an integral part of his artistic style. He can pull inspiration from his Hispanic heritage as well as the beauty and cultural diversity that each city has had to offer. Being blessed with the ability to visualize, imagine and create is the ultimate joy and thrill for this young photographer.

Art and music have always been his escape and his shelter from any storm. A true artist at heart, Maicol immersed himself in painting, drawing and photography as well as community art events and charity work. A spiritual individual with strong morals and a solid character, he worked hard to make sure that all energy around him was positive and that his vibrant energy has turn created a sense of peace to everyone who has come across his path.

With his dynamic entrepreneurial spirit, Maicol started his own company Unique Photography and Design. The word “Unique” has a special significance because it is the very adjective that describes him as an artist as well as a person. He takes pride in being different from all others and relishes the opportunity to take the path less traveled, even if it isn’t always the easiest path.

Inspired first and foremost by the divine creator, Maicol takes time everyday to admire what God has created all around us to enjoy. People, love and music are also huge inspirational forces in life. His utmost desire is that the viewer gains as much joy from experiencing his art as he has had in creating it.
